The Subaru Cup will be sponsored by Silverstone Tyres. The control tyre for the 'Cup will be the Silverstone FTZ type RR as pictured below:


Silverstone Tyres will also be supplying on-site and technical support at each event. We're looking forward to getting a couple of sets of these tyres fitted as early as possible next year to see what they're like and for Karen to become accustomed to their characteristics on track.

The new tyres will be fitted onto the Ultralite Atec alloy wheels. Sizes to be used will probably be 215/45 x 17". Here's hoping they're also good in the wet as well as dry conditions!

Whilst collecting some new rear brake discs from XSpec Motorsport, Richard was delighted when Graham also made a present of a set of XSpec high performance front brake pads for Karen's car! Many thanks to Graham and the continued sponsorship from XSpec Motorsport. We hope that Karen and her XSpec logo'd Impreza WRX will make you proud next year.

Currently, Rexy needs the rear brake lines and brake discs replacing and once that is complete it'll be time to check out the operation of the entire braking system. If all is well, we can start looking for some trackday practice early in the new year.
